Hot Riveting

This type of work is done by hand or through machine.

LUCATO Termica is one of the few companies still able to execute hot riveting of steam locomotive boilers.

This type of work can be done by either using a hydraulic press built according to specifications provided by our company for riveting the plates/sheets to the basic framework, or by hand using pneumatic hammers for the junctions of sheets of the cylindrical shell, of the front tuyere plate etc.
