Our Company has decades of experience in repairing steam locomotives.
Apart from doing overhauls of mechanical components and of both transmission and drafts parts, we are specialized in repairing steam locomotive’s boilers by using either cooper or steel firebox.
Construction and repair of both riveted and welded boilers are done following referencing techniques and in collaboration with the Notified Bodies (such as ANSF, USTIF, APAVE, etc).
Our activities include:
- Repair and/or construction of riveted or welded boilers for steam locomotives;
- Steam pipelines overhaul;
- Safety valves calibration and overhaul;
- Mechanical overhaul of transmission parts;
- Draft gears NDT;
- Wheels and axles NDT
